Exam and Evaluation
In this foundational course, you will learn how to diagnose and create a basic treatment plan for men complaining of hypoactive sexual desire disorder, erectile dysfunction, early ejaculation, and delayed ejaculation. Information will include symptoms, etiology, medical treatment, and sex therapy approaches. Behavioral techniques based on learning theory are included. Methods include listening to a narrated PowerPoint lecture and reading three related journal articles.
Note: The difference between this course and the course on DSM-5 and Men's Sexual Problems is that the latter course requires detailed reading of the DSM.
Intended Audience
This course is recommended both as an introduction to the topic as well as an update for more experienced practitioners of sex and relationship therapy.
Course Objectives
As a result of taking this course, you will be able to:
1. Assess symptoms of sexual dysfunction in men.
2. Describe an evidence-based treatment plan for DSM-5 sexual disorders in women/men.
3. Identify goals of healthy sexuality for men and their partners.

Exam and Evaluation
You are required to take an exam to demonstrate that you read and understood the material. This course contains four exams and one evaluation. You will have three tries on each exam to pass at 80% or better. Once you complete the course evaluation, you will be able to automatically download your certificate of completion.
